Since following my brother round as a kid with my Woolworth special fishing kit, my early days soon became a passion to addiction to way of life and I wouldn’t change it for the world. We all have had those “what if I’d done that” moments when carping but I truly believe that biggest European bait manufacture has really helped me put that extra carp on the bank.

My Fishing has taken me to some fantastic lakes in France, Italy, South Africa, Belgium, Germany and of course all over the UK. I can honest say that I have fished with all the Starbaits Boilies currently on sale, however if I was to only pick one it would have to be the Probiotic Red every time, there’s something quite special about that bait.

We all say we don’t fish enough, so when I do I really try to make it count, I try to do 6 to 8 carp matches a year. I really enjoy the match seen, as I feel it makes me fish harder.

I don’t have many regrets in carp fishing however my biggest regret is not having a set of 120lb scales, but that’s another story!!!

Fav rig: A rig a good friend of mine come up with which we called ‘The Throat Choker’ that consists of a long hair on a 3.5mm rig ring, SB2 Hook Size 6 with a small hook stop bead and a small bent hook tube. It just nails them everytime!!!!
Fav fishing style: People who know me would say I’m a bit of a heavy baiter, but I’m a believer in getting them on the bait and fishing in places that others can’t reach.
