Illex Ashura Pepper X5 S 2502 ML Magic Stick 2-6g up to 10g is a two-piece rod designed for ultra-light perch, chub and trout bank anglers on small to large rivers, high altitude lakes and reservoirs. The length is ideal for casting and working small micro jigs or light jig heads along the bottom. A responsive and fast blank that is perfect for a range of delicate soft bait tactics including Light Drop Shot, Light Neko rig, Light Split Rig, Wacky Rig, floating insect baits or sinking bugs. It can also handle dense spoons from 2.5-7g. bit still the blank is stiff enough to handle small plugs or crankbaits.
The Magic Stick is very different to any of the other Pepper's in the range as Illex have stripped back the handle and selected a reel seat that optimises feedback from the blank. The solid tip is incredibly sensitive and, coupled with a through action blank, lets you read every contour on the bottom and detect the slightest knock from a curious fish. The Magic Stick is built on our new X5 high quality blanks incorporating prepreg carbon set at three different angles to reduce weight and increase responsiveness without sacrificing power. Features FUJI TORZITE TITANIUM K guides to eliminate frap-ups, reduce weight and prolong line life.
Supplied with a Cordura protective tube and signature rod bag.
