At 8ft 7in (265cm) long, the rod can launch the biggest lures on the biggest waters and has the leverage needed to pump big baits in very deep water. Capable of handling XXXL soft baits. Illex have added some fibreglass to the blank for extra comfort when casting and working lures. The War Dog will comfortably cast XXXL lures up to 250g and is the perfect rod for specimen pike hunting on big waters across Europe and North America. Built using top quality Japanese FUJI components with ALCONITE K anti-frap guides and an ACS reel seat for optimum comfort aloung with an EVA grip above the reel seat gives more support when playing big fish.
