If you use a larger lure to increase casting distance you lose the effectiveness of your finesse approach. INFINITYLOOP is a technology to help you overcome this difficult scenario. It is an ultra slow spool oscillation, with improved line lay, which measurably reduces line friction when casting and enables you to cast longer distances with lighter lures, and with more accuracy in tight situations. Unrivalled quality and performance
The Vanquish is built for finesse fishing styles, but don’t underestimate its power. Shimano used its latest technologies derived mainly from Stella to make this reel also very powerful and durable. INFINITYXROSS produces a more durable gear construction by increasing the surface area and width of the teeth, which distributes the load more evenly. To protect the inside of the reel from water and dirt, SHIMANO have added its very best protection in the form of X-PROTECT. This technology keeps the water and dirt away from the internal components of the reel, whilst at the same time maintaining lightweight rotation feel, resulting in years of problem-free use. Another new feature is ANTI-TWIST FIN which results in better line management. By automatically controlling line tension around the bail-arm/line roller area, problem causing loops and tangles of line are a thing of the past, especially when using ultra fine braid.
