I grew up around the Match fishing seen due to my Dad and my two older brothers so as soon as I could cast I was fishing.  I started to chase the Carp from the age of 10 and then switch to fishing with Lures only from the age of 25.  Being a fairly active person I was finding that fishing for Carp was getting boring so after going out with Steve Crother from Chelmsford Angling one evening and after catching my first chub on a lure I was hooked. I traded in all my carp gear and my Lure angling career began.

Over the years I have been lucky enough to fish all over the UK, Holland, France and Spain catching multiple species on Lures.  In 2015 the pinnacle of my angling went to the next level, filled with pride and a true honour was when I was selected to fish for the England Lure Squad, travelling to Estonia and the follow year to Ireland.  

I’ve been lucky enough to have fantastic catches targeting fish on the Lure, from to 27lb, Catfish to 60+, Bass to 63cm, Roach, Gudgeon, ASP, Ide, Bream, Tench and even Eels.

In 2014 I started to play around with making my own lures, OMG Plastics was born, and I get an immense satisfaction on catching and seeing others catch on Lures that I have moulded myself.  

I first met Dave at one of the LAS show and I liked was I saw, it's a real pleasure to join Predator Tackle Pro Team the decision was easy as PredatorTackle.co.uk is growing rapidly as is the Lure market.

Perch, Pike, Perch or Zander? – I haven’t got a favourite as I will be happy to fish for any of them.

PB: Pike 114cm, Zander 9lb - 77cm, Perch 5lb 7oz - 47cm, Chub 6lb 10oz

Most memorable session: Travelling PerchZilla fishing with Tommaso Martinelli and Ian Whittakerand catching monster Perch.

Fav Fishing style: Slow Jigging.

Fav lure: I have many favourites lures, however if I had to pick 3 it would be a OMG Baby Bro, ZMAN TRD and a Gunki Whiz

Fav Rods: I’m lucky enough to own a Matagi, Everygreen and Mega Bass Rods, however I am very impressed with the Gunki-T Range of rods due sensitive fast action tips for the price range.
