Gunki Grouper 180 S is a hybrid swimbait featuring an ABS hard body with a soft tail. Supplied with a shad-type tail as standard that can be swapped for a curly “comma” shaped tail ( spare tails are sold separately).  Designed to be fished in relatively shallow water, over weed beds for example, the GROUPER 180S is easily customisable and can be adapted to a wide range of situations.  Two fixing points for retrieving the lure and two eyes on the stomach that take a GUNKI CLIP WEIGHT or you can add your own Tungsten Fastach Sinker to give you lots of different rigging options.  Fished slowly without additional weight you can work the lure at just 10cm deep.  By adding a 4g clip weight which is supplied with the lure, you can fish it comfortably at 60cm in depth.  You can add more weight to fish the lure deeper or faster as required.  If you want to achieve a fast dive attach the weight to the front of the lure. If you prefer a slower drop with the lure sitting flatter, use the clip weight attachment in the middle.  For slow shallow retrieves or fast retrieves with added weight use the forward attachment point located at the mouth. To fish the lure deeper using a slow cranking retrieve attach the lure to the point below the head.  This gives the impression of a big prey fish by displacing more water. All these options make it surprisingly versatile for a big 18cm lure!

Easy to fish using simple cast and retrieve tactics and does not pull too hard on the rod tip yet with so many ways to change your presentation quickly whilst fishing.  The new Gunki Grouper 180 Swimbait has 2 x treble Hooks that are fitted to rolling swivels to protect the pike as much as possible, as this genuine pike magnet that can catch fish everywhere.
